The True Story Behind Alaska’s Adventures

We get asked all the time,  “Wait…your dog rides motorcycles?”

We just smile and say, “Yup! She LOVES it more than food!” So we thought it might be fun to create a children’s book series about all the adventures that Alaska (our dog) gets to experience. We wrote the books specifically for children who might be stuck (in a hospital or somewhere else) and would love the escape of riding with Alaska on the open road! We also desire to reach children who struggle to read and purposefully built in Accessibility Features to help those readers find the love of story again!

Alaska and the Brown Family

The Brown Family rescued me in March of 2020. I was born on June 10, 2018. When I first came to the Brown Family, I did not like to be pet or even play ball. Now I love to play ball, tag and I love to be pet behind the ears! I look forward to the weekends so I can go on motorcycle rides!

My brother, Cody, really wanted a dog and convinced the Brown Family to rescue me. Cody loves cars, sports, working out, having fun and playing tag with me! Cody got his motorcycle permit in June 2021 and he is a natural on the motorcycle! You should see him!

My mom, Kim, spends a lot of time with me. We hang out, go on walks, and take car rides together. Kim was a  teacher for over 40 years and was privileged to be an Apple Distinguished Educator. She loves God, dance, musical theatre, her family, and being creative!

My daddy, Andrew, loves dogs; especially me! We have so much fun going on adventures together! We hike together, kayak together and ride motorcycles together! Andrew loves sports, being outdoors, and his family! Andrew frequently enjoys a great day on the golf course.

These are my fabulous siblings; Kaleb, his wife Christina, Cameron, his wife Kiana, and Cody.  Though we live in different places, they love to come back and go hiking with me! Cameron was actually the one who found me. I am so grateful they rescued me, brought me home, and take me on many exciting adventures!
