My name is Alaska. I am a Husky-Klee Kai mix, who weighs about 50 pounds and loves to go on exciting adventures every week with my family! They rescued me and now we love spending time hiking, kayaking, and most of all…riding! In fact, we have been having so much fun we decided to write a children’s book series to highlight some of our adventures! Come along with us as we explore different places and learn different things along the way! This website is all about the Adventures of a Motodog! During the week I might look like a regular dog, but on the weekends I am a motodog who loves the wind in my face, the thrill of the ride, and the majestic scenery.

We get asked all the time,

“Wait…your dog rides motorcycles?”

We just smile and say, “Yup! She LOVES it!” So we thought it might be fun to create a children’s book series about all the adventures that Alaska (our dog) gets to experience. We wrote the books specifically for children who might be stuck in a hospital (or somewhere) and would love the escape of riding with Alaska on the open road! We also desire to reach children who struggle to read and purposefully built in Accessibility Features to help those readers find the love of story again! After being rescued, Alaska’s life changes. She is happy with her life because her new family does everything together with her! Then one day, her daddy comes home with a motorcycle and she is not allowed to go with him while he is gone. Where does he go while he is riding his motorcycle? It makes her sad to be left alone! About Us

Alaska and the Brown Family

Alaska out for a hike

The Brown Family rescued me in March of 2020. I was born on June 10, 2018. When I first came to the Brown Family, I did not like to be pet or even play ball. Now I love to play ball, tag and I love to be pet behind the ears! I look forward to the weekends so I can go on motorcycle rides!

My brother, Cody, really wanted a dog and convinced the Brown Family to rescue me. Cody loves cars, sports, working out, having fun and playing tag with me! Cody got his motorcycle permit in June 2021 and he is a natural on the motorcycle! You should see him! 

My mom, Kim, spends a lot of time with me. We hang out, go on walks, and take car rides together. Kim was a  teacher for over 38 years and was privileged to be an Apple Distinguished Educator. She loves God, dance, musical theatre, her family, and being creative!

My daddy, Andrew, loves dogs; especially me! We have so much fun going on adventures together! We hike together, kayak together and ride motorcycles together! Andrew loves sports, being outdoors, and his family! Andrew frequently enjoys a great day on the golf course.

These are my 3 brothers. Kaleb and Cameron are grown up now so they don’t live in the house anymore, but they love to come home and play with me! Cameron was actually the one who found me and I am so grateful that they rescued me, brought me home, and take me on all types of adventures!
